UTour has proudly crossed the mark of 185,000 self-guided home tours. To put it into perspective, the cumulative duration of these tours totals an astounding 14,000 hours. That's the equivalent of over 580 consecutive days of touring – a testament to the exceptional demand for our services.
Our network has expanded robustly too. We now serve more than 100 builders across the United States and Canada. Our footprint spans 200 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) in 30 states and 3 Canadian provinces, supporting our mission to help North American builders sell more homes while also making it easier for home shoppers to find their dream homes.
Digging Deeper into the Data: Q1 2023
A closer look at our performance reveals some interesting trends. The top 10 states leading in self-tour volume include California, Washington, Idaho, Texas, Arizona, Virginia, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. In Q1 2023, the top 10 states by self-tour volume contributed to over 86% of all U.S. tours on UTour.
While California remains a dominant force in the self-tour market, we've noted a significant uptick in self-tour activity in other states. Washington, Texas, Idaho, and Nevada, for instance, have experienced a year-over-year increase of +9% in self-tour activity.
