UTour disrupts the traditional process to make home shopping easier, smarter and more efficient to help home shoppers find their dream homes on their terms.
A home shopper visits your website or an integrated listing via Zillow, Realtor.com or NewHomeSource.com to self-tour a UTour-enabled home. If they’re on-site at the community, they simply scan the QR code via signage in front of the home to register and immediately self-tour the home.
The home shopper will create an account and verify their identity using a credit or debit card or government-issued photo ID, such as a valid driver’s license. The shopper agrees to the customizable, builder-specific visitor terms and conditions, and they receive their tour information via an automated text and email message that provides their unique entry code to unlock the front door.
An automated pre-tour nurturing campaign via email and SMS text messaging is automatically delivered to the home shopper if the self-tour was scheduled for a future date.
The home shopper will enter their unique 4-digit access code on the smart lock on the front door to gain entry and disarm the security alarm (if available). The home shopper has 30 minutes to self-tour the home.
Within minutes of entering the home, the home shopper receives an automated text message via their smartphone, introducing them to a community salesperson and encouraging them to contact that salesperson during or after their tour to discuss next steps.
With our optional AI features, an additional automated text message can be delivered by our Self-Tour Assistant chatbot to inform the shopper that they can text questions to the bot and receive automated, instant responses. Likewise, with the optional AI voice feature, motion sensors will activate the Alexa-enabled devices in key rooms of the home as the shopper self-tours the home and visitors can ask questions about the home or community.
The home shopper’s entry code and access expire at the conclusion of the scheduled self-touring time (either 30 minutes or 1 hour). Automated reminder notifications are delivered to the shopper before their tour expires, reminding them to exit the home in accordance with the scheduled end time of their self-tour reservation.
Automated nurturing emails and text messages are sent to the home shopper, encouraging them to contact the salesperson to discuss the next steps (i.e., a virtual or in-person sales appointment).
All visitor and self-tour data, including the visitor’s contact info, tour duration and details on any engagement with the AI technologies during their self-tour are automatically sent to the builder’s CRM. Reporting is also available on-demand via the Builder Portal.
