UTour includes two identity verification options for all UTour visitors: Credit card verification or government-issued photo ID document (i.e., a current passport, current driver’s license issued by a state DMV, current US military ID card, etc.).
Providing a credit card number allows us to verify the visitor’s identity before scheduling a tour. Visitors are not charged for touring a home and UTour does not retain the visitor’s information after their identity has been verified.
If a UTour visitor does not wish to use a credit card to verify their identity, they can use a government-issued photo ID document to confirm their identity. The accepted forms of photo ID are those issued by government authorities, such as state-issued driver's licenses, United States military identity cards and passports.
No. Visitors only verify their identity once when they initially create an account prior to scheduling their first tour. Registered UTour visitors will not need to repeat the identity verification process for future tours.

No, if you intend to sell the home with the existing Z-Wave lock that was used for the self-guided tours, you do not have to remove that lock when the home sells. UTour's technology is included in a reusable hub device that provides cellular access to a singular Z-Wave lock and provides WiFi access for Amazon Alexa. Thus, once the home sells, you simply move the hub device to another model or inventory home for sale. There are no codes to clear on the Z-Wave lock and you will not have the burden of uninstalling the lock.
